Boost for Trackside Safety Technology
AmcoGiffen is the first principal contractor to use new safety technology developed by Tended.
The system uses geofencing to provide added protection for trackside operatives. One of our teams based in Wales has been working with the system since October. This latest innovation follows Network Rail’s latest safety standard (NR/ L2/OHS/501 Module W4) which, for the first time, specifies the requirements for the use of geofencing on the railway.
