Procurement's Away Day!
Helping to streamline our processes, reduce raw material costs and identify better sources of supply, our procurement team jetted off to York for a full day of team building, planning and reflection.
Developing plans of action and undertaking various challenges, the theme for the day was ‘positivity breeds success’ – which was mirrored in the proactive mind-set of all attendees.
We covered various topics relating to communication styles, creative thinking, negotiation techniques and aspects of contract law. Michael Hardy, Head of Procurement and Supply Chain said: “this was a brilliant day, embraced with real positivity by a fantastic team ready for the future challenges facing AmcoGiffen!”
