Supervisor Academy in Scotland!
In spite of snow, hail, rain, and a ‘biting north easterly wind’, AmcoGiffen received a very warm welcome from the Supervisor Academy candidates in Scotland last week!
The first of the 2 3 day sessions was launched by our Regional MD, Alan Boyle, who then handed over to facilitators Shaun O'Connell and Gordon Cowan who introduced a number of interactive sessions. Each participant had the opportunity to lead their own individual group exercise, demonstrating a variety of qualities, and raising fresh topics of conversation.
The final day closed with feedback from the attendees, explaining that the 3 days had provided them with food for thought and a new perspective for various aspects of their role.
Labour Manager, Shaun O Connell, said, “It is only with supervisor participation and a willingness to continually improve, that the academy can be a success.” Heading down to St Albans this week, we’re excited to continue implementing our Supervisor Academy training across the business.
